Ryan and Alex met in the summer of 2009 and immediately got along like gangbusters. They played music together as part of the group Skarwyn and each began playing in a solo capacity at Finegan's Irish Pub. In this setting they solidified their friendship and began collaborating as a duo, eventually deciding to pursue music as such as opposed to individually or as part of a larger group.
